Navy SEAL PST (Physical Screening Test)

You’d be correct to assume that US Navy SEALs perform at an elite level of physical fitness. This Navy PST is the requirements to even be considered for a position in the US Navy SEALs. Even if you’re not trying to become a Navy SEAL, it’s fun to see how you compare (fun may not be your word of choice).
NOTE: IF YOU’RE PURSUING A POSITION AS A SEAL, MUCH BETTER PST SCORING IS EXPECTED.
Minimum Requirements
- Swim 500 yards in 12:30 (450 M) – breaststroke or sidestroke
- Rest 10 Minutes
- 50 Pushups in 2 Minutes (no stopping)
- Rest 2 Minutes
- 50 Situps in 2 Minutes
- Rest 2 Minutes
- 50 Pull-ups in 2 minutes (overhand grip, chin level or above bar, and fully extended arms at the bottom, do dropping)
- Rest 10 Minutes
- Run 1.5 miles in 10:30 (7:00 pace)
Optimal Performance
- Swim 500 yards in 9:00
- Rest 10 Minutes
- 90 Pushups in 2 Minutes
- Rest 2 Minutes
- 85 Situps in 2 Minutes
- Rest 2 Minutes
- 18 Pull-ups in 2 minutes
- Rest 10 Minutes
- Run 1.5 miles in 9:30 (6:20 pace)
